Why am I doing this?

My purpose for this new blog is to share my family's adventures as new horse owners. I grew up having horses, but have just recently been able to get back into horses. My youngest son rides in our local saddle club, and my middle son is trying to get into roping. I am sure this will be both entertaining and educational for us. My hope is that we will be able to enjoy these wonderful animals together as a family and with our friends.
