Day 5...still going strong!


Turner and I made it to PC! It's amazing how calm it is considering it is Spring Break!  Anyway, I didn't weigh this morning; I don't have MY scales, and I'm wanting to keep this thing legit. So I will weigh on Friday morning when I am back home. I can't wait to see my results from Thriving, eating more sensibly, and doing some walking on the beach 😉! Hopefully, the clouds will clear, and I'll be able to tan some of my fat while I'm getting rid of it!

Major feel good moment!!! I woke up this morning and FELT thinner! No, I'm not modeling for well, anyone, but I didn't feel bloated or "full," I felt...thinner!

I'm still feeling great, sleeping better, waking up more refreshed, and not craving junk, so...I'd say, there are no complaints about Thrive so far!

Going to the Beach! Day 4

Today Turner and I are heading to the beach!  He was a little jealous that his older brothers were going, so I decided to take a few days during Spring Break and take him too.

So...I slept great again last night and woke up feeling refreshed.  I'm still not used to that; I normally have to drag myself out of bed and stumble to the coffee pot, BUT...no coffee for this chick since I started Thrive!  I weighed in first thing this morning, and I'm down another 0.2 pounds (157.2 lbs.).  Y'all! That is 2.6 pounds in 3 days, and the only thing I've done differently is Thrive!  Imagine what will happen when the Easter downpour of 2016 stops, and I can get outside and start walking again!

So, how am I feeling?  Great!  I feel a lot less hungry, but I do eat when I am hungry.  I find that I am eating much less when I do eat and feel full quicker.  I am not craving junk food!  That is HUGE for me!  With all of this Easter candy in my house, I don't even want it!  I have not wanted a Diet Coke or cup of coffee.  All I want to drink is water, and I drink lots of it.  I have not once felt jittery or light headed.  When I go to bed at night, I fall asleep quickly and sleep well. 

Now to finish a research data report for grad school, finish packing, and then we are outta here!  Have a fabulous day!

Still Thrivin' ... Day 3


Okay, so I forgot to note in my first post that I am also working on my Master's Degree AND preparing to take the Biology GACE to obtain my certification for my new teaching position next year. So...yeah, I'm pretty busy.  Today, I woke up thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the fact that he died for ME!  I would not be the blessed woman that I am were it not for Him alone.  Happy Easter! 

My weigh in this morning was 157.4 (down 0.2 more pounds).  I took the capsules, drank my shake, and donned a fancy, new DFT patch to get my day going.  I drank the chocolate shake this morning and this time, added a Tbsp. of PB2 to it.  It was good, but I think I like the vanilla better.  I'm going to try some PB2 in my next vanilla shake.  After taking my baby girl (4 month old American Bulldog, Lizzie) out to potty, taking pictures of my little one with his Easter basket, putting on a load of laundry, and catching up on some blog posts, I'm ready to tackle some college work!

Thrive...Day 2

Okay, I was super excited to get up today and get to Thriving again! By the way, I slept super great which is something I have truly been struggling with.  I weighed as soon as I got up this morning, and...I weighed in at 157.6 pounds! I have lost 2.2 pounds.  Now, I know this is mostly due to detoxing and water loss, but, a loss is a loss!  I took my capsules and put on a new DFT.  I am only doing the shakes every other day per recommendations from my wonderful promoter and friend, Courtney Thompson.  I have had energy all day long and just felt like my old self (10 years ago).  I must say, I have not had any negative side effects, just in the restroom a lot, but that is not a bad thing at all!  Even after being around all of my favorite Easter candy, and let me tell you, I LOVE those Cadbury eggs, I didn't even want any of it!  Now, that is pretty much miraculous because I am was a junk food junkie! Stay tuned for Day 3...this is getting good!


Thrive...What's all the fuss about?

Thrive...What's all the fuss about?

Okay, so Thrive has been around for a while now, and I have several friends who have been "Thriving" from the beginning.  I was what you would call the ultimate skeptic!  The reason I decided to give Thrive a shot was my constant fatigue!  I was always tired, I craved junk food, and I had no motivation whatsoever to do anything!

Day 1:  I took the capsules, drank the shake (vanilla), and slapped on that DFT patch!  Goodness gracious!  I felt amazing!  I did not even realize until about 3:00 pm that I had not drank a Diet Coke all day.  I had not eaten any junk food (even with our class Easter party going on).  AND...I still had energy to spare! 

Now, let's talk real stuff here...the shake tasted great, a little gritty, but tasted just fine.  I mixed my shake with cold water.  Now, the smell is a little strong (I'm guessing from all of the vitamins and minerals), so I justed gulped it down quickly while holding my breath so I wouldn't smell it.  I drank water all day as is recommended; therefore, I spent a lot of time in the restroom.  The system detoxes your body, so all those toxins have to go somewhere, and the water aids in the removal process.  Prior to eating or drinking anything this morning, I weighed and .... now, this is personal, but I'm putting it out there, so don't judge! I weighed 159.8 pounds (Yeah, I'm still blaming it on baby fat, but he's 9 now, so that doesn't cut it anymore!).  This is honestly the best I have felt in a while! Stay tuned for Day 2!
